MakeReal3D promotes the the digital R&D of civil machinery

Founded in 1985, the Gansu Academy of Machinery Science and Technology is a province emphasis scientific research institute and a model enterprise of manufacturing informatization, focused on the research and development field of agricultural machinery engineering, new materials, applied engineering, and mechatronics. In the reconstruction project of the Institute VR laboratory, Beijing Long Teknik Technology Co., Ltd. combines MakeReal3D with the original two-channel stereoscopic display system of the laboratory to realize processes of interactive display, review and analysis and virtual assembly of mechanical design solutions under immersive environment.

Beijing Long Teknik Technology Co., Ltd. and the Gansu Academy of Machinery Science and Technology had reached a strategic cooperation agreement, which marks the beginning of the application of MakeReal3D in the field of civil machinery. It is hoped that computer simulation technology can shorten the time from the design to its release of a civil product, making more contributions to the civilian machinery industry. It is expected that more new products under virtual reality technology can be designed.
MakeReal3D software is a VR simulation software combining functions such as DMU review, fast rendering of outer model , heterogeneous CAD assembly, virtual disassembly and maintenance with real physical properties, and collaborative design, which can be used under various display system and combined with different peripherals to give full play to the advantages of VR technology.
MakeReal3D software provides the following major functions for the design and research of Gansu Academy of Mechanical Sciences:
Immersive, interactive user experience
The software of Solidworks, Catia, Pro/E, which are commonly used by the design and development department, can be displayed in the dual channel passive stereoscopic display environment without the format conversion, and can obtain the real sense of reality, and can realize the human-computer interaction under the role of the position tracking system.
Designing Model Review
Designers can put the model of mechanical design on large screens to achieve full-scale, multi-angle, multi-state, to analyze it by interactive assessment tools of measurements, markers, and sections and to share design results with others.
CAE analysis and CAD model fusion
The results of the CAE analysis can be visualized on large screens with color cloud images, dynamic streamlines, statistical graphs and so on. These highly dynamic and aesthetic images can also be placed in the 3D models and scenarios generated by other CAD software to achieve the visual unity of the data and the scene.
Virtual disassembly and assembly
The simulation of the disassembly and assembly of the component is conducted in a virtual environment to verify the feasibility of disassembly and assembly. And through a reasonable program of the disassembly path and assembly sequence and the usage of work tools and fixtures, it is to be improved of the production process, then to reduce wrong assembling, and increase the speed and first time silicon success.
